REA is developing the most innovative spacesuit ever built.

EMSi is the first bionic suit designed for astronaut needs, that fights the serious problem of muscle and skeletal mass loss caused by the micro-gravity.

With an innovative system of sensors and electrodes embedded in the suit and guided by artificial intelligence, the astronaut muscles are constantly stimulated and his movements compensated as if he was on earth.

With our solution, astronauts can live longer in space, without having any problems.

In collaboration with the Italian Air Force (ItAF) and Italian Space Agency (ASI), REA will conduct the in-orbit test of the Electrical Muscle Simulation (EMSi) suit in its Muscle Monitoring configuration.

This suit, equipped with an advanced electronic control unit, is designed to collect data on muscle activity during astronauts' daily routines.
