DRACO ROVER
- DRACO represents power and resilience in the face of challenges. Its association with dragons symbolizes the rover's ability to conquer and protect during lunar construction missions.
- The vehicle is designed to support the weight and functionality of the robotic-arm & to perform on the large terrain.
- The robotic arm collects the regolith from the surface and places it in the inner Block Production Machine.
- Designed to contain one Block Production Machine, the regolith is solidified in blocks in the interior of the rover.
- Once the regolith is solidified in blocks, the robotic arm will place the blocks onto the surface to start the construction.
MOONBASE
In order to establish a Moon economy we need to start building infrastructure on the lunar surface. We are working to build the first infrastructure such as:
Comms center
A lunar communication center allows for the relay of data between the moon and Earth. It serves as a crucial link for sending scientific data, mission telemetry, and video footage from lunar missions back to Earth for analysis, research, and public outreach.
The moon is at a significant distance from Earth, resulting in signal delays (latency) when communicating directly with lunar missions. A comms center on the moon can facilitate real-time, low-latency communication, improving mission control capabilities and enabling rapid response to unforeseen situations.
Lunar robots, rovers, and equipment can be operated remotely from Earth through the communication center. This allows for extended missions, efficient resource utilization, and scientific research on the lunar surface.
